Despite your dissatisfaction with how Luigi came out, I actually think both brothers look fantastic here! I have to say, this has GOT to be the most accurate depiction of what Mario and Luigi would look like as real people that I have ever seen! This is just... simply fantastic. Very well done, ma'am.

I like this. The only small niggle I have is that Mario's face, while realistic, does not carry over that cherubic feature. Perhaps it needs to be fattened up a little. It might be the jaw line.
Luigi looks fine, but the thing that might be throwing you off is his eyes.
If you look at it you can see some of the similarities to the Wario/Waluigi picture you did a while back in their features. While being an octave lighter to their alter-ego, Mario carries Wario's wolfish looks while Luigi carries Waluigi's serpentine squint.
I had thought of giving him that particular trait but then I looked back on how I did Wario and realised I should have made him fatter and then changed my mind. I might add it later once my retinas have recovered.
You're right about Luigi. I spent a good 20 mins trying to morph them back into his skull plus, I don't think I rendered/outlined him as much (I was shattered at that point!)
In regards to your last point, that was completely sub-conscious. XD
I am thinking of doing Bowser (100% human) and maybe some minor characters; probably not to this degree of professionalism but nonetheless. And who knows, I might even do your beloved mad scientist.
(Actually, I've been meaning to produce something with him and Walu in the last few weeks so keep your eyes peeled in y!G)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
