'It's-a me, Martinet!'
First (proper) piece of work of this year. Been wanting to do real peeps for a while so thought I'd start with him while I was still in the phase. This'll be the last Mario Bros. thing I'll do for now as there's so many other things I want to work on and experiment (portraits, original work, etc). There's a chance I'll do more but well, a break would be nice! I'm fairly pleased with this although it could be better. Messed up his shoulders I think, but it'll do. Heh, he was fun although challenging to do... crooked smiles are tricky! XD God knows how many times I listened to the Mario Party soundtracks when working on this!  *hates doing backgrounds* Comments Yay for Martinet!

AWESOME!  I saw the pic in my message box and immediatly recognized him. That guy is so awesome!  I also love how you drew the Mario and Wario brothers with him. I see you tried drawing them in the Nintendo style this time. I think it goes well with the pic.  Looks like Wario found some money.  A definate fave.  I think you did an awesome job on this. You should get Martinet himself to see this. I'm sure he'll love it. Too bad you'll probably never meet him... but you know what I mean.   WOW! you never disapoint me with your art!
